Ever wished you could fast forward to a different time and place and skip all the uncomfortable stuff? In the midst of chaos and confusion, God extends the invitation of His presence, He invites us not just to know Him, but to see Him and what He is doing.

Join us this Sunday as Aimee Walker encourages us to accept this invitation, to learn to be still, to 'step out of the traffic' and see God.

February 2012 - Beyond Ourselves

Have you ever done anything that was way out of your comfort zone? Stretched a little? Taken you ... beyond yourself?

One day in a moment in time, Jesus walked up to a man called Simon (who He renamed Peter) and issued an invitation, "Come follow me..." Simon Peter's life would never be the same. He would hear, see and experience things that took him way beyond himself, beyond his small world and cause him to go down in history as someone who helped change the world!

What will 2012 hold for you? Same old, same old... or will you hear the voice of Christ calling you, "Come follow me..." and live beyond yourself? In this second message in this series we take a look at how 'to be with Jesus.' When the religious leaders in the book of Acts couldn't get their head around the power the followers of Christ ministered in, they simply '…realised that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and took note that these men had been with Jesus.' (Acts chapter four verse thirteen) They had been 'schooled' by Jesus. Join us as we discover how 'to be with Jesus.'
