Shore Elim - A People of Mercy, A Place of Hope
Shore Elim began in February 2000 (initially called - 'Mercy Christian Centre') as a church plant. Mazhar & Philippa Kefali pioneered the church after having spent twelve years in Baptist church ministry. We are committed to our local community seeking to serve the needs we come across in relevant ways that communicate God's love for each person and family. After meeting in Forrest Hill School for 6 ½ years and then meeting in the afternoons for 3 ½ years at Forrest Hill Presbyterian, we opened a new chapter in our journey when we moved into our own home on Sunday 7th February this year (2010).
